What are Relics and How Do I Get Them?
Relics are equippable items that further improve and strengthen your Guardians. They are specific to each of the four Guardian roles: support, ranged, tank, and melee. This means that only a support Guardian can wear a support relic, for example.
The types of relics available include: bracelets, brooches, pendants, and rings. Guardians can use one of each type of relic at a time.
Relics are further divided by their rarity, which determines how strong the relic is. The more rare a relic is, the stronger it will be. The relics can be legendary, epic, rare, uncommon, or common.
You can obtain relics by participating in the dangerous dungeons. They can also be collected from relic crystals, certain objectives, and special offers. Occasionally opportunities will also be provided to earn relic crystals as rewards from special events and calendars.

Relic Traits and Bonuses
Relics that are rare tier or higher will sometimes have traits (such as Leader, Seafaring, Book Smart, etc.) attached to them. A relic with a trait will provide a bonus when it is equipped by a Guardian that shares that same trait displayed below the Trait Bonus section.
Equipping all four of your Guardian’s relic slots with relics that have the same trait will provide an additional Trait Collection Bonus. Trait Collection Bonuses will apply even if the Guardian does not have that particular trait.
Note: As relics and their traits are randomized, you may not always receive a relic with traits or a relic that has traits matching any Guardian currently available for that specific role.
Equipping, Upgrading, and Scrapping
Your relics can be accessed from the inventory on the ARMORY screen by selecting the RELICS tab from the navigation options on the left side. You can also see and modify the relics that a specific Guardian has equipped by selecting that Guardian and choosing RELICS from the options on the left side of the GUARDIAN DETAILS screen. Upgrading your Guardians by equipping stronger relics will improve their power and attributes.
Relics can be sorted through using the filter feature, which will allow you to sort by the rarity of the relics or their specific traits. When viewing relic options available for a specific Guardian, only the ones available for their role will be visible.
Each relic in the inventory can only be equipped to one Guardian at a time.
Rare, epic, and legendary relics can improve their grade to be even stronger. As a relic's grade increases, the diamonds at the bottom of their icon will fill in, showing that they have been upgraded.
Upgrading a relic requires Gold and Ore, however, you can also use other relics to directly upgrade a specific relic. Any relic chosen to directly improve another relic’s grade will be consumed, but the stronger the relic being used for the upgrade is, the stronger the upgrade will be and the more Ore that may be obtained from the transaction.
Ore can also be collected by scrapping relics that are not in use or obtained from milestones in the dangerous dungeons.
