Status effects in combat are conditions that influence Champion performance. Understanding these categories is essential for strategic gameplay and effective Champion management. These effects are as follows:
- Buffs: Positive effects applied to Champions.
- Debuffs: Negative effects applied to Champions.
- Passives: Neither buffs nor debuffs, with effects varying from beneficial to detrimental. Passives are removed only through specific interactions outlined in their descriptions. Passives are affected by ability accuracy modification.
- Immunities: Prevents Champions from being affected by specific status effects or categories of effects. Immunities target specific effects (e.g., Bleed) or categories (e.g., Debuffs). For example, a Champion immune to Bleed cannot receive the Bleed debuff. However, a passive Bleed effect will be stopped by Bleed Immunity, but not Debuff immunity, as passive effects are not debuffs.
Viewing Status Effects
You may view these effects under your Champion’s or your opponent’s health bar, along with a cooldown meter indicating when the effects will wear off, if applicable.
You can pause the battle at any time to get a description of any active buffs or debuffs on either Champion.
