Premium Mod Crystals can be purchased in the store for 75 Energon each. Each crystal guarantees a 2-star mod with a chance of a 3- or 4-star mod. These crystals can also be created by combining 2,000 Premium Mod Crystal Shards in the crystal vault.
3-Star Mod Crystal
3-Star Mod Crystals can be created by combining 2,000x 3-Star Mod Crystal Shards in the crystal vault. Each crystal guarantees a 3-star mod.
Premium Bot Crystal
Premium Bot Crystals can be purchased in the store for 100 Energon in packages of one, five, and 10 crystals each. Each Premium Bot Crystal guarantees a 2-star bot with a chance of a 3- o -4-star bot. These crystals can also be created by combining 2,000 Premium Bot Crystal Shards in the crystal vault.
2-Star Bot Crystal
These crystals exclusively provide 2-star bots. 2-Star Bot Crystals can be obtained as a mission completion reward. They may also be available as rewards from arenas.
3-Star Bot Crystal
These crystals exclusively provide 3-star bots. 3-Star Bot Crystals can be obtained as a mission completion, exploration, arena, or event reward, as well through special limited-time offers. These crystals can also be created by combining 2,000x 3-Star Bot Crystal Shards in the crystal vault.
4-Star Bot Crystal
These crystals exclusively provide 4-star bots. 4-Star Bot Crystals can be obtained as a mission exploration reward, through event rewards, and through special limited-time offers. It can also be created by combining 2,000x 4-Star Bot Crystal Shards in the crystal vault.
5-Star Bot Crystal
These crystals exclusively provide 5-star bots. 5-Star Bot Crystals can be obtained by combining 10,000x 5-Star Crystal Shards.

Arena Crystal
Arena crystals can be purchased with 1,000 Arena Chips in packages of one, five, and 10 crystals each. You can get Arena Chips by winning player versus player arena battles like 3 versus 3. The crystals offer a chance for Gold, Ore-13, and Energon.
Daily Crystal
Daily crystals are free. You can claim them once a day for a chance to obtain a 3-star bot or mod.
Mission Crystal
Mission crystals are crystals found on missions that give you a chance to win Energy Refills, Ore-13, or Energon. These crystals drop in missions and are random. Being able to complete a mission does not guarantee that you will get a crystal.
Free 4-Hour Crystal
Free crystals give you a chance to win consumables and Gold. They can be claimed every four hours and contain free Gold, repair kits, and revive kits.
Specialty Crystal
These crystals are temporarily available in the CRYSTAL tab and change after the countdown reaches zero. Exchange Energon for specialty crystals that contain better and more specific rewards than Premium Bot Crystals. For example, the Mad Machines Crystal guarantees a 3-star bot, with a chance of a 4- or 5-star bot.
