While exploring the Mirroverse, you will come across a variety of items. These items are stored in your materials inventory and organized by their type.
Your inventory may be accessed through the GUARDIANS button on the home screen.
Gems
Gems in your inventory are organized by tier and type. There are also universal and role-specific versions of these items.
Diamonds: Universal
Rubies: Attack
Topazes: Focus
Emeralds: Health
Sapphires: Defense
Each category has a specific gem shard requirement to create a full gem.
Each gem has a maximum amount that can be held in your inventory at any given time. This capacity is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the item listing for each gem tier and type.
If you reach maximum capacity, you must use or sell gems before you can obtain any more.
Motes
There are two types of motes: universal and role-specific. Within those types there are also three tiers of motes: minor, major, and superior.
Minor motes apply to levels 1-20, major motes apply to levels 21-50, and superior motes apply to levels 51-100. The number of each mote you possess is displayed below each item.
Motes cannot be sold and must be used in order to clear space. The inventory capacity for motes is 10,000 of each type. Once you have 10,000, you must use some to be able to earn more. Otherwise, any motes you earn will be lost permanently and cannot be recovered.
Universal Motes
These motes can be used on any Guardian regardless of their role.
Role-Specific Motes
These motes are split into four roles: Melee, Ranged, Support, and Tank. They can only be used on Guardians that share their role type.
XP motes cannot be sold and must be used in order to clear space.
Items
Items that you might find in your inventory are energy recharges, dungeon items, Laurels, event-specific currency like shard fragments, as well as role-specific stardust. Each item has an individual maximum capacity in the inventory. Items earned in amounts that exceed the individual capacity of that item will be sent to your stash.
Consumable items like energy recharges cannot be sold and must be used to clear space.
Books
Books are used in the Mirrorverse to upgrade and enhance your Guardians’ talents. Unlike motes and gems, books are always universal. Books are available for purchase in the Bazaar or the Alliance store. You can also collect books as rewards from story quests and some event quests.
Note: Epic books and pages can sometimes be found in encounters. They can be purchased from the Alliance store with Laurels or earned as rewards from tower quests.
Relics
Relics are equipable items that further improve and strengthen your Guardians. They are specific to each of the four Guardian roles: Melee, Ranged, Support, and Tank. You can obtain relics by participating in the dangerous dungeons. They can also be collected from relic crystals, certain objectives, and special offers. Occasionally, opportunities will also be provided to earn relic crystals as rewards from special events and calendars.
Stash
Your inventory has limited space. Gems or items that cannot be stored in your inventory will be delivered to your stash.
The stash may be accessed by tapping the STASH button in the CLAIM section of the ARMORY screen.
Remember that items in the stash will only be available to claim for a limited amount of time. As the timer for each item gets close to zero, you may want to manage your inventory. Gems and dungeon items can be used or sold to make room. All other items cannot be sold and must be used to make room.
If an item expires before you claim or sell it, it will be removed permanently from your stash and cannot be recovered.
Note: Should you reach the maximum number of gems within a specific category in your inventory and have enough shards to create a new gem, the completed gem will be automatically added to your stash.
Important:
- If you have reached the maximum capacity of an item in your inventory, you will need to sell or use the items in your inventory before you can claim more of the same items from your stash.
- Each inventory is independent of the other inventories. For example, clearing space in your motes or items inventories will not allow you to claim more gems. Make sure that you check your stash regularly to avoid losing items!
