How Do the Drop Rates Work?
Our drop rates are set in our back-end administration platform for the game.
Drop rates indicate the likelihood that you will receive a specified item. Here are a couple of quick examples to help explain how drop rates work:
If you have a coin, the likelihood of tossing this coin and getting heads or tails is 50%. Each time that you toss the coin is independent of the previous time, and the likelihood of getting heads or tails does not change because you tried again.
If you toss this coin 10 times, it is equally possible that it may turn up heads every time, or just once or twice. Each coin toss is independent and not affected by the previous coin toss.
In relation to the game, say you buy a Guardian crystal and the drop rate for bonus Guardian shards is 3%. This does not mean that if you buy 100 Guardian crystals that you are guaranteed to receive three instances of bonus Guardian shards.
This means that you have a 3% chance to get bonus shards each time you open that crystal. If you purchase one Guardian crystal you could receive bonus shards, or you could purchase multiple Guardian crystals and not receive any bonuses.
Which Items Display Drop Rates?
You will see the drop rates displayed for all crystals found in Mirrorverse.
Where Will I Find This Information?
When purchasing a crystal, you may tap on the information icon displayed to the right of the crystal’s name.
When you tap on this icon, you will see the drop rates for the items within the crystal. The drop rates will be displayed as percentages. Below is an example of how and where this information will be displayed:
Misconceptions
We strongly believe in keeping Disney Mirrorverse fair for all of our players, and as such:
- There are no specific drop rates for individuals.
- Drop rates are not affected by how much real-world currency is spent on the game.
- Specific Guardians do not have a higher drop rate than any other Guardian unless otherwise noted in the drop rates on the crystal.
How Do I Get the Guardians or Upgrade Gems That I Want?
Guardians:
While the drop of a specific Guardian or Guardian's shards is not guaranteed, there are many ways to get the Guardians you would like:
- Guardian crystals grant a chance to earn enough shards to unlock a new Guardian.
- Guardian shards are dropped from Guardian, premium, and Mini Premium Crystals.
- Guardian shards may be rewarded from event quests.
Make sure that you check the game for new offers and events!
Upgrade Gems:
Daily quests will award you with upgrade gem shards after every encounter. There is a chance you may receive even more shards from the mystery boxes you pick up along the way. First-time completion and mastery rewards for daily quests will grant you a large amount of upgrade gem shards.
Daily quests are ever-changing. Their progress resets on a daily basis, so be sure to check back in to reap the rewards.
What Are Limited Time Offers?
The system may offer you upgrade gems as a limited time offer in exchange for Orbs.
