Here are the most common questions regarding account management and limitations:
What Do I Need to Do to Make Changes to My Account or Request Account-Specific Information from Kabam Support?
You can contact Kabam Support to get help with your request and will need to answer verification questions. We require players to verify account ownership before we can make changes to an account or share account details.
How Do I Verify Account Ownership?
Please contact Kabam Support with the following information:
- What was the original in-game player name of your account? Write this name exactly as it appeared in the game.
- What are your first two real-money purchases? Include the dates (yyyy-mm-dd) and the amount of real money you spent on iTunes or Google.
- Did you ever attach a Kabam ID to your account, and what was the original email address that was linked to your account? Write the exact email address you attached to your account as a Kabam ID.
- What country, province, state, or city were you in when you created your account?
- What is the creation date of your account? Estimate the date (yyyy-mm-dd) of when you created your account in the game.
If you are having trouble remembering when you created the account, you may want to review your email history to find the earliest message that you received from Kabam. If you have a Google Play account, we recommend that you check the dates of your earliest achievements as this may also help you to determine when you created the account.
Why Do I Need to Verify Account Ownership?
We are serious about account security and keeping player accounts safe. We follow this security practice to keep accounts from being tampered with or accessed by anyone other than the account owner.
Note that we will not share what verification information is correct. Sharing this kind of information can put player accounts at risk because it could help someone other than the account owner to gain access to an account.
Can I Have More than One Account?
Yes, you can make more than one account as long as you have a different Game Center, Google Play ID, or Kabam ID to link to it. You will not be able to link your Game Center ID, Google Play ID, or unique Kabam ID to multiple accounts.
Read more about it under section 10. YOUR ACCOUNT in our Terms of Service (ToS).
Can I Share My Account?
Do not forget that accounts are personal and cannot be shared, sold, or traded.
As per articles 10. YOUR ACCOUNT and 11. CODE OF CONDUCT STANDARDS, sharing accounts violates our Terms of Service, as it entails many risks to the account user, and it can even result in a permanent ban. You can find more information about this in sections 13. TERMINATION, 14. VIRTUAL CURRENCY/SITE ITEMS, and 15. VIRTUAL CURRENCY TRANSFERS/TRANSACTIONS of the ToS.
To illustrate some of the reasons why this is a harmful practice, here are some of the most common scenarios:
-
You Want to Give Your Password to a Friend or Family Member.
Your password is private and should never be shared with anyone, not even the support team. Giving your password away can put you at risk of losing Champions and items that you might not be able to recover.
Do not share your password with that friend who wants to check out your characters or test the game before creating a new account! You can always help your friend create their own account, show them how to play, and invite them to join your alliance.
-
You Were Offered Free Currency that Would Otherwise Be a Real-Money Purchase.
Do not take the bait. These are scams aiming to steal your personal information. Remember that cheating or hacking the game will result in a permanent ban. You can purchase in-game currency in the store or earn it through events and other in-game features. Learn more about account protection in this helpful article.
-
You Want to Hire Someone to Play for You During Your Downtime.
This practice violates our ToS and will result in the permanent suspension of the account if account sharing is detected.
-
You Want to Sell or Trade Your Account.
Accounts are personal, non-transferable, and free. Selling or buying an account is strictly prohibited by our ToS, and the risks outweigh the rewards as we will permanently close any account that we determine was bought or sold.
How Old Do I Need to Be to Own an Account?
As per article 1. ELIGIBILITY of our Terms of Service, you must be at least 13 years of age to own an account. By accessing, using, and/or submitting content or messages to or through our Services, you represent that you are at least 13 years old or older if you are a resident of the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada, 16 years old if you are a resident of the European Economic Area, or an adult in any other jurisdictions.
Users Aged 13-18: If you are a parent or guardian and you provide your consent to your child’s registration with the Services, you agree to be bound by these terms in respect of such child’s use of the Services and/or anything accessible or available through the Services or through third-party platforms.
