Some arenas offer basic Champions as a reward. For example, the screenshot below shows a reward of a 4-Star Basic Hulkbuster. The Champion’s badge will display with a blue tint if it is a basic Champion.
Basic Champions are only different from the standard versions if they are duplicates of Champions you already own in your inventory. If you claim a basic Champion as a reward and you do not own the Champion already, a standard copy will be added to your roster.
What Happens If I Get a Duplicate Basic Champion?
A duplicate will NOT grant you ISO-8, Gold, nor crystal shards, and will provide only ONE signature ability level, regardless of the tier.
