Here are the most common questions regarding account management and limitations:
What Do I Need to Do to Make Changes to My Account or Request Account-Specific Information from Kabam Support?
You can contact Kabam Support to get help with your request and will need to answer verification questions. We require players to verify account ownership before we can make changes to an account or share account details.
How Do I Verify Account Ownership?
Please contact Kabam Support with the following information:
- What was the original in-game player name of your account? Write this name exactly as it appeared in the game.
- What are your first two real-money purchases? Include the dates (yyyy-mm-dd) and the amount of real money you spent on iTunes or Google.
- Did you ever attach a Kabam ID to your account, and what was the original email address that was linked to your account? Write the exact email address you attached to your account as a Kabam ID.
- What country, province, state, or city were you in when you created your account?
- What is the creation date of your account? Estimate the date (yyyy-mm-dd) of when you created your account in the game.
If you are having trouble remembering when you created the account, you may want to review your email history to find the earliest message that you received from Kabam. If you have a Google Play account, we recommend that you check the dates of your earliest achievements as this may also help you to determine when you created the account.
Why Do I Need to Verify Account Ownership?
We are serious about account security and keeping player accounts safe. We follow this security practice to keep accounts from being tampered with or accessed by anyone other than the account owner.
Note that we will not share what verification information is correct. Sharing this kind of information can put player accounts at risk because it could help someone other than the account owner to gain access to an account.
Can I Have More than One Account?
Yes, you can make more than one account as long as you have a different Game Center ID, Google Play ID, or Kabam ID to link to it. You will not be able to link your Game Center ID, Google Play ID, or Kabam ID to multiple accounts.
Can I combine or merge accounts?
Accounts cannot be combined or merged together.
Can I Share My Account?
Do not forget that accounts are personal. Sharing accounts violates our Terms of Service (ToS). You may not use anyone else’s account at any time, and you may not allow anyone else to use your account at any time. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. This includes all access and use of your account, including any and all activities.
Account sharing poses many risks to the account user, and it can even result in a permanent account closure. To illustrate some of the reasons why this is a harmful practice, here are some of the most common scenarios:
-
You Want to Give Your Password to a Friend or Family Member.
Your password is private and should never be shared with anyone, not even our Kabam Support team. Do not share your password with that friend who wants to check out your characters or test the game before creating a new account. You can always help another player with account creation and show them how to play. Maybe you can even convince them to join your alliance! Giving your password away, though, can put you at risk of losing characters and items that you might not be able to recover.
-
You Were Offered Free Currency that Would Otherwise Be a Real-Money Purchase.
Do not take the bait. These are scams aiming to steal your personal information. Remember that cheating or hacking the game will result in a permanent account closure. You can purchase in-game currency in the store or earn it through events and other in-game features.
-
You Want to Hire Someone to Play for You During Your Downtime.
This is a bad practice that violates our ToS. Furthermore, it can result in a temporary suspension or permanent closure of the account.
-
You Want to Sell or Trade Your Account.
Accounts are personal, non-transferable, and free. This is a situation where the risks outweigh the rewards. Selling or buying an account is strictly prohibited, and there is a high chance that the account will be permanently closed. The person that sold you the account might also try to keep it or recover it after the transaction has been done.
How Old Do I Need to Be to Own an Account?
Our policy is that you need to be 13 years of age or older to own an account. Most of our games have a PEGI rating of 12 and an ESRB Teen rating for the following:
- Infrequent/mild profanity or crude humor
- Infrequent/mild realistic violence
- Frequent/intense cartoon or fantasy violence
ESRB Teen Rating |
The content is generally suitable for ages 13 and up. May contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language. |
PEGI 12 |
Games or apps that show violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy characters, or non-graphic violence towards human-looking characters or animals would fall in this age category, as well as nudity of a slightly more graphic nature and simulated gambling. Any bad language in this category must be mild and fall short of sexual expletives. |
To check the age rating of your app, go to your App Store or Google Play account and search the game. The age rating should be listed in the app information.
