If you are unable to play the game due to an Easy Anti-Cheat Error, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Uninstall the game by navigating to the Windows Settings menu Apps Marvel Contest of Champions Uninstall.
- Re-download the standalone launcher on our official website: https://playcontestofchampions.com/.
- Reinstall the game using the new web_installer file.
If uninstalling and reinstalling the game does not resolve the issue, follow these additional troubleshooting steps:

Go to the Scripts folder in your Marvel Contest of Champions directory on your hard drive.
- By default, the Scripts folder will be located in the following directory: C:\Games\Marvel Contest of Champions\default\game\Scripts

Locate a file named install.bat and double-click the file to install it. You should get a pop-up that shows the following:
- Click Yes to install Easy Anti-Cheat Service.
- After installation, restart your computer and relaunch The Contest.
