Here are common reasons you might not receive Twitch Drops:
- You did not earn the rewards. You need to watch a qualifying stream for a set amount of time to earn the rewards.
- You did not claim the rewards. After you earn the rewards, you have to claim them from your Twitch Drops Inventory.
- You did not link your Kabam and Twitch accounts. Log in to Kabam Account Management to link your Twitch account.
You did not earn the rewards.
Kabam uses three types of Twitch Drops campaigns:
- Official Livestream Campaigns - earn Drops rewards by watching an Official Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) Livestream event hosted by Kabam. Drops can only be earned while watching the live event. Drops will be labelled with “Stream”.
- Content Creator Program Campaigns - earn Drops rewards by watching an Official Kabam Content Creator Program (CCP) member's Twitch livestream. CCP members will identify themselves as such in their Channel descriptions, and the Drops will be labeled as Creator Drops.
- Open Campaigns - earn Drops rewards by watching livestream content on Twitch of any content creator playing Marvel Contest of Champions.
Drops can only be earned from qualifying livestreams. You will not earn Twitch Drops by watching a Video on Demand on Kabam or another Content Creator’s Twitch Channel.
If you are watching a livestream with Drops enabled, and you are not seeing progress toward earning the rewards, first make sure you are logged in to Twitch and that you have linked your Kabam Account. If the Drops you are trying to earn are labelled as Stream or Creator, and you are not watching a qualifying stream, you will not earn progress on them.
If you are watching a qualifying stream and do not see progress being made in your Drops Inventory, refresh your web browser or Twitch app, or quit and relaunch the stream. If you still cannot see any progress being made, you can try contacting Twitch Support for assistance with this issue, though they may not always be able to help. Kabam Support cannot make any changes or correct any issues on the Twitch system.
Most Twitch Drops contain Selectable Rewards, which are tuned to story progression. This means that when you claim the reward in-game, you will be presented with multiple options to choose from, but you will only be able to select rewards that match or are lower than your current progression level. The image shown on Twitch for the Drop will match the highest-tiered reward available in the selector, so depending on your progression and the selector options you may not be able to receive the exact reward shown in the image.
You did not claim the rewards.
Once you earn a Drop reward, you will get a notification on Twitch. You then have up to 7 days to claim the reward from your Twitch Drops Inventory. If you do not claim the reward, it will not be sent to your Kabam Account.
You did not link your Kabam and Twitch accounts.
You can only link your Twitch account to a single Kabam account, so if you wish to receive Twitch Drops rewards on multiple Kabam accounts, you will need multiple Twitch accounts and will need to earn and claim the rewards on each of them. Linking your Twitch account to your Kabam account will unlink that Twitch account from any other Kabam accounts it was previously linked with.
To link your Twitch account to your Kabam account:
- Log in to your Kabam account using your Kabam ID email address on the Kabam Account Management page.
- In the Connections section, click on the Chain Link icon to the right of “Link Your Twitch Account”.
- You will be taken to a Twitch log in page. Make sure you log in with the same Twitch account on this page that you intend to use to watch streams and earn Drops.
- If you are already logged in to a Twitch account on that web browser, you will see a screen like this:
If the account name displayed there is not the one you are trying to link, click the “not you? log out” link. You will then be prompted to enter your correct Twitch username and password. - Once the correct account is logged in, you will need to press “Authorize” to complete the link.
- If you are already logged in to a Twitch account on that web browser, you will see a screen like this:
If you are not sure what the username of your Twitch account is that you used to earn Drops, access the device or browser you typically use for Twitch streaming and visit your Twitch Account Profile Settings. Note that your Twitch “username” and “display name” are the same by default but can be different; you need to use your username to log in.
